SOFTOMATE SOLUTIONS LIMITED ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT
Last reviewed: August 2026. This statement applies to www.softomatesolutions.com.
Softomate Solutions Limited is registered in England and Wales, company number 14030684, with its registered office at 17 Albemarle Park, Stanmore, England, HA7 4HL.
Our commitment
We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We build accessibility into the site as we work on it rather than treating it as a one-off exercise.
How accessible this website is
We are being deliberately specific here rather than claiming full conformance. This site has not been independently audited against WCAG 2.2 AA, and we are not claiming that it fully meets that standard. What follows is an honest account of what we have checked ourselves.
Measures currently in place across the site:
The page language is declared, so screen readers pronounce content correctly. Pages use proper landmark regions for navigation, main content and the footer, so assistive technology users can jump between sections. Every image on the site carries an alt attribute, with decorative images marked as such so they are skipped rather than announced. Interactive controls carry accessible names. Animation and motion respect the operating system's reduced-motion setting. Headings follow a logical order, and we run an automated heading-hierarchy check as part of our build.
Known limitations
We are aware of the following, and they are on our list to fix:
No skip link. There is currently no "skip to main content" link at the top of pages, so keyboard and screen reader users must move through the navigation on every page before reaching the content. This does not meet WCAG 2.4.1 Bypass Blocks.
Focus indicators rely on browser defaults. We do not currently define our own visible focus styles. On some backgrounds the default indicator may be difficult to see, which risks failing WCAG 2.4.7 Focus Visible.
No independent audit. Our accessibility checks to date have been internal and partly automated. Automated testing cannot detect every barrier, so there may be issues we have not found.
Third-party content. Some parts of the site embed or link to services we do not control, including Cloudflare Turnstile on our forms, Google Maps, and social platforms. We cannot guarantee the accessibility of content served by those providers.
Reporting an accessibility problem
If you find a barrier we have not listed, or you need information from this site in a different format, please tell us. We want to hear about it.
Email hi@softomatesolutions.com or call 07442 569900. Please describe the page you were on and what you were trying to do. We aim to reply within five working days.
If you need content in an alternative format, such as accessible PDF, large print, easy read or audio, contact us using the same details and we will discuss what we can provide.
Enforcement procedure
The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is responsible for enforcing the Equality Act 2010 in relation to website accessibility. If you are unhappy with how we respond to your complaint, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) at equalityadvisoryservice.com.
Preparation of this statement
This statement was prepared in August 2026. It is based on our own review of the site, including automated checks for heading structure, image alternative text, landmark regions, language declaration and motion preferences. It has not been reviewed by an external accessibility auditor.
We will update this statement as we address the limitations listed above.
